provides financial support to palliative care providers throughout
Eastern Ontario. The lion’s share of the funds provided are
raised through two main events, a Black Tie Bingo held in
November, and the Outcare Foundation Golf Classic.
The golf tournament
is a natural fit for Grandmaitre Virgo Evans, which specializes
in estate planning and administration, in addition to wills,
real estate and corporate law.
“The work the foundation
does is so valuable to the people who need it,” says Grandmaitre.
“Organizations like Outcare let people spend time with their
loved ones in a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere at a
time that can be very stressful.”
Last year’s tournament
raised over $55,000 for palliative care in Eastern Ontario.
