35TH ANNUAL ORLEANS CHRISTMAS CHOIRFEST starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Pentecostal Church, 1825 St Joseph Blvd. Admission is free, however, a free will offering will be collected during the intermission and divided between the Orleans-Cumberland Community Resource Center and Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard and their Christmas Food Programs.

David Bertschi is a resident of Orléans who has been practicing law since he was called to the bar in 1985. A graduate of Carleton University, Mr. Bertschi completed his law degree at the University of Windsor.

For 30 years, David has restricted his practice to insurance disputes and related litigation. He advises insurers, self-insured corporations, non-profit organizations, small and medium businesses and individuals on insurance, commercial, employment and human rights litigation.

Fluently bilingual, David is also an Accredited Mediator which he uses daily in negotiating on behalf of the firm's clients in court connected or private mediation, arbitration and neutral evaluations.

Deborah Orth is also a graduate of Carleton University. She went on to study law at the University of Ottawa where she graduated Cum Laude in 1991. She was called to the bar two years later.

Debbie restricts her practice to litigation and insurance defence work including defending personal injury, automobile, accident benefits, property and casualty, educational malfeasance, professional liability, commercial general liability, life and disability and defamation claims.

Stephanie Drisdelle attended the University of Ottawa where she graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in 2006. She earned her Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2009, and her Masters of Law degree from University College London in 2011.

Fluently bilingual, Stephanie practices in the area of civil litigation, focusing primarily on insurance defence, including personal injury and property cases, as well as education litigation.

Prior to joining Bertschi Orth Solicitors and Barristers LLP, Stephanie completed her articling at a national law firm in Ottawa where she acquired extensive experience drafting pleadings and legal opinions, conducting discoveries, attending mediations and pre - trials, and preparing matters for trial.

Brian C. Elkin is a graduate of Concordia University. He received his law degree from McGill University in 1983 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1985 and Quebec in 1987.

Brian is fluently bilingual with over 30 years of litigation experience as a trial lawyer. He has extensive experience in insurance and commercial litigation. His experience includes acting in personal injury, product liability, cargo claims, extra-jurisdictional claims, class proceedings, contract disputes, shareholder remedy issues, and insolvency. Brian also advises insures and insured in coverage matters.

Lucas Ostrowski practices primarily in the field of personal injury litigation, representing both plaintiffs and insurers. A natural advocate, Lucas’ trial experience positions him to fiercely pursue his clients’ interests, while his integrity and attention to detail imbues his work with a credibility and fairness that is persuasive to jurors and opposing counsel alike

Prior to joining BOS Law, Lucas practiced criminal defence at a prominent Toronto firm, successfully defending clients in high-profile cases charged with serious criminal and regulatory offences. Lucas has won trials and appeals at the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, and has worked with senior lawyers on appeals at the Ontario Court of Appeal
