Homan advances to Ontario Scotties final

Orléans skip Rachel Homan is one win away from
a return trip to the Canadian Scotties Tournament of Hearts
after winning the 1-2 Page playoff at the provincial championships
in Brampton this afternoon.

Weagle made short work of Jacqueline Harrison's Mississauga
rink, scoring three points in each of the second and fourth
ends and a deuce in the eighth on their way to a convincing

Miskew, Carruthers and Weagle must now await the outcome
of Sunday morning's semi-final between Harrison and Ottawa's
Jen Hanna to see who they will play in the final which
will be broadcast on Sportsnet starting at 2 p.m..
