Four more red light cameras coming to Orléans

By Fred Sherwin
The Orléans Star

The City of Ottawa has approved the installation of four new red light cameras in Orléans.

The four new cameras will be installed at Orléans Blvd. and Innes Rd.; Tenth Line Rd. and Vantage Drive; St. Joseph Blvd. and Tenth Line Rd.; and St. Joseph Blvd. and Old Montreal Rd.

The four intersections are among 20 locations across the city where the new red light cameras will be installed beginning this spring and will be completed by the end of the year.

The 20 intersections chosen had an average of three or more angle collisions a year because someone ran a red light.....or where there were five or more angle collisions at red lights over four years.

(This story was made possible thanks to their generous support of our local business partners.)
