The Ottawa police are asking for the public's help in trying to track down a man wanted for robbing a 60-year-old woman while she was making a withdrawal from an ATM machine in the 2500 block of St-Joeph Blvd.

The man was armed with a knife and demanded cash as well as the victim's car keys. He then fled the scene in her vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male with a stocky build. He is approximately 5'8" tall and in his 30s. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hoodie jacket, a baseball hat with a purple brim, blue jeans, white running shoes and a backpack.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is being asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
