Residents living on Leblond Street in Orléans got an early morning wake up call on Wednesday care of the Ottawa Police Service who were conducting a city-wide raid on properties connected to members of the Hells Angels.

Some residents report hearing a loud bang on the street shortly after 6 a.m.. When they went to see the cause of the noise they saw a number of police vehicles outside one of the houses on the street and at least 10 police officers.

Three individuals were taken into custody at the residence which has been raided in the past.

Similar raids were conducted at 10 different locations in Ottawa as part of a province-wide crackdown on biker gangs.

No other information has been released by the Ottawa Police or the OPP on the matter.
