arrangements made for former Orléans resident killed
in the line of duty

while on duty in the northern Quebec community

former Orléans resident who was killed in the line
of duty while serving with the Kativik Regional Police
Force in northern Quebec on the weekend, will receive
a funeral service with full honours.
Dery, 27, was shot to death last Saturday night as he
responded to a domestic dispute in the village of Kuujjuaq
in northern Quebec. He will be laid to rest this Saturday
following a funeral service at Notre Dame Cathedral on
Suzzex Drive at 11 a.m.
funeral is being organized by the the Ottawa Police Service
and is expected to be attended by police officers from
across Ontario and Quebec.
