The Superdome Sports Centre is one of the most advanced multi-purpose sports facilities in Canada.

Located in the Hornet's Nest soccer park on the outskirts of Blackburn Hamlet in Ottawa's east end, the giant air-supported, climate controlled dome is home to a wide variety of sports including indoor soccer, touch football, lacrosse and Ultimate frisbee. It also serves as the winter base for the Gloucester Soccer Association.

The Superdome recently underwent an upgrade with new state-of-the-art turf and lighting, making the facility much brighter.

The regulation size FIFA soccer field (94m x 56m) can be divided into three smaller fields (56m x 29m) which are available for rental to minor sports groups, associations and the public at large.

For more information about the The Superdome Sports Centre or to check out the facility's daily schedule, visit www.superdome.ca. They can also be reached by calling 613-590-1660 or by e-mail at info@superdome.ca.

The Superdome Sports Centre is owned and operated by TMSI Sports Management in Ottawa which also operates The Superdome at Ben Franklin Park in Nepean, and the Thunderbird Sports Centre in Kanata, as well as the eQuinelle Golf Club in Kemptville and the Perth Golf Course.

Each is proprty is unique in its own right.

The Superdome at Ben Franklin Place is home to the largest indoor driving in Ottawa which operates Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. beginning on the second Monday in December and running until the second Friday in April.

The Thunderbird Sports Centre is home to Ottawa’s only fully-lighted golf course, offering extended play beyond the regular hours of any other course in the city.

The eQuinelle Golf Club has quickly gained a reputation as one of the premier golf courses in Eastern Ontario and has consistently been ranked the top public golf course in the Ottawa area by Flagstick Magazine. This past golf season saw the grand opening of a 20,000 sq. ft. clubhouse designed Ottawa architect Barry Hobin.

Last, but by no means least, the Perth Golf Course holds the distinction of being the oldest golf course in Canada, having been established in 1890.
