St. Joseph Manor is a retirement residence providing specialized care to individuals living with Alzheimers and dementia in a compassionate, warm and fully supportive environment.

Family members suffering from Alzheimers or related conditions require special care and attention. With fully-trained professional caregivers on duty around the clock and a doctor on call, your loved one is always in good hands. We also provide different levels of care depending on our residents' individual requirements.

St. Joseph Manor recently went through an extensive renovation of its facilities. All communal areas and resident rooms have been repainted, the latter at the choice of the resident or their family. Many new ensuite bathrooms were installed as well to promote the privacy and dignity of residents.

On the first floor major improvements include an upgraded main dining room complete with a new working fireplace, a separate private dining room for family gatherings and a country kitchen to encourage residents to become involved in cooking activities.

At St. Joseph Manor we strive to foster the development of an environment where each resident has a sense of belonging, where personal and family history is respected and cherished and where each resident is encouraged to develop new relationships and experiences.

We offer three floors with both private and semi-private suites in a home-like setting, a full dining room featuring delicious well-balanced meals and snacks, staff assisted personal care and hygiene, full housekeeping and laundry services and an on-site hairdresser.

To help our residents stay active, we provide a wide variety of activities tailored to each individual's abilities. These include walking, playing the piano, gardening and bingo. We also have a number of recreational areas at our resident's disposal for guests to join in live entertainment, special outings and family gatherings.

For those occasions when our residents require quiet time, we have a number of beautiful, secure outdoor areas with patios, gardens and mountain views. At St. Joseph we realize that safety and security is a primary concern of family members. To that end you should take comfort in knowing that the manor grounds are completely secured and monitored. All outer doors require access codes to be opened.

In addition, the building meets all fire safety requirements and the staff are all fully trained in emergency procedures. In fact, our staff regularly attends in-house training sessions in a number of areas in an effort to improve and upgrade their skills. Education programs are also available for family members and members of the community.
