Welcome aboard!

M.L. Bradley Ltd. is a family owned and operated school and charter bus company that has been serving the local community for the past 42 years.

Founded by Morris Lorne Bradley who tragically passed away in 1991, the business is now operated by his wife Joyce along with his daughter Kathleen and son-in-law Gord Both out of the company's offices on Frank Kenny Road in Navan.

Through the years, M.L. Bradley has prided itself on the quality and professionalism of its staff and drivers, many of whom have been with the company for over 12 years.

The company operates more than 75 buses covering 100 routes, all with a mission to "provide transportation to school children in the safest, most efficient and amicable way possible".

All driver candidates must be a minimum of 21-years-old with a valid driver's license, undergo a criminal record review and MTO driver record search, and agree to the company's strict policies.

Once the prerequisites have been met, the trainee must pass a vision test, complete a defensive driving course and successfully pass the MTO written and road tests.

After the candidate has successfully obtained his or her Class "E" or "B" license, the training does not stop. In an effort to achieve driving excellence, ML Bradley's qualified driver trainers are continually developing training programs and seminars for all drivers.

In addition, all of ML Bradley's vehicles are serviced on a regular basis and meet Ministry of Transportation standards. The company's trained service technicians ensure that all the buses are kept clean and in top mechanical working order. Each vehicle is placed in the company's Fleet Management system to make sure all inspections are completed on schedule.

M.L. Bradley was also the first bus line in the region to hold a "First Time Rider Day" for young children, doing so in 1991. The program has since been held by other carriers.

Among their many efforts to support the community they call home, ML Bradley's was an active supporter of the Juno Beach Visitors' Centre project in Normandy, France which opened on June 6, 2003.

The Juno Beach Centre recognizes Canada’s military and civilian contributions during the Second World War and preserves for future generations those contributions while honouring the gifts of valour and freedom that were given by all who participated, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice, so that we may live in a free society.
